Communication between EDICOMLta and an external system is automatic and performed via the RESTful protocol. We offer two connectivity options: using the EDICOMLta dedicated API or implementing RESTful calls directly in a third-party system. Whenever internal system-management policies allow, we recommend the RESTful call library developed specifically by EDICOM.
The dedicated API that EDICOMLta offers has been developed with a JAVA base, awarding it a multiplatform property for easy implementation in any system or platform.
Documents and data are transferred between the app and the electronic archiving platform with full security through SSL communication protocols that encrypt calls between systems.
We provide our customers with the library for https protocol calls that let them interact with the archiving service, along with detailed technical documentation so they can implement the calls in their management apps with total comfort. Our support service also works with them on any problem or query that may arise while integrating the API with their internal management system.
